MAJLIS SUKAN SEKOLAH-SEKOLAH MALAYSIA KE-47

The MSSM is held annually under the auspices of the Ministry of Education Malaysia. It was inaugurated 3 March 1958 and today, it encompasses 24 sporting disciplines. MSSM is acronym for Majlis Sukan Sekolah-Sekolah Malaysia and the official English reference is Malaysia School Sports Council.

There are 3 age-groups for boys and girls. These are Under-12, Under-15 and Under-18. In swimming, all the events ranging from 50m – 1500m would be competed. Competitors represent their respective states and winners stand further chance to qualify to represent Malaysia at the ASEAN School Games in Vietnam later on this year.  

This year’s edition of MSSM–Akuatik would be held at Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan, Shah Alam – 25 to 29 March. Admission is free.
